Limitations

• Objects may desync for remote clients due to VRChat networking and parameter limitations. Please wait a few moments while motionless before placing an object to minimize desync.
• Placed objects will not sync their location to users who connected after you placed them due to VRChat networking limitations.
• Teleportals may break maps with occlusion culling zones, leading to parts of the world not loading correctly for those who take your portals.
• You are not able to take your own teleportals or sit in your own seat due to VRChat station limitations.
• Because each prefab uses multiple floats for X, Y, and Z movement, parameter usage is relatively high. When using parameter compressor functionality, be mindful of the desync limitation mentioned above, as parameter compressors can make desync more noticeable.

Installation

1. Install VRCFury into your project as per their instructions.
2. Import one or both of the .unitypackage files into your project by double clicking them while the project is open.
3. Drag the prefabs from your assets to the root of your avatar. The prefabs are located in the Cheesesteak folder, under either ExtendoChair or Teleportal.
4. (Extendo Chair only) Align the HandTarget empty with your avatar's right hand. Precision isn't necessary.
5. (Android Only for Teleportal) Allow the VRChat SDK to automatically remove the Box Colliders by pressing "Auto Fix" under Builder > Review Any Alerts in the VRChat SDK window.
6. For use with GoGo Loco or any other prefab or avatar that adds seats, see below.

GoGo Loco/Other Chair Prefab Instructions

Summary

Delete either Chair_C, Chair_L, or Chair_R under "GogoLoco Beyond (VRCFury) > Beyond Prefab > Chairs in your avatar's hierarchy for best compatibility when using all three of Gogo Loco Beyond, Extendo Chair, and Teleportal on the same avatar. I recommend Chair_C for symmetry. This is not necessary when using only one of my prefabs with GoGo Loco.

If you have any other avatars or prefabs that add stations (or seats), ensure that the maximum number of stations does not exceed 6. The VRChat SDK will have a warning about stations on the Builder screen under review, and you can click select to see all stations on your avatar.

Nerdy Explanation

VRChat allows a maximum of 6 stations (or seats) on an avatar at a time, and deletes any that go over this limit at runtime. GoGo Loco Beyond includes 4 stations, and if GoGo Loco Beyond, Extendo Chair, and Teleportal are installed at the same time, this may lead to undesired behavior such as flying no longer working, or the teleportals or chairs not functioning as this brings the total number of stations to 7.

To work around this limitation, when the GogoLoco Beyond (VRCFury) prefab is in your hierarchy, simply delete one of the chairs under GogoLoco Beyond (VRCFury) > Beyond Prefab > Chairs.

You can delete either C (Center), L (Left) or R (Right). The fourth station is under Fly > Rotation > Collider, and should not be deleted as it is essential for flying functionality.

This is a non-destructive change thanks to how prefabbing works. To revert this, simply revert the change under the Overrides dropdown in the inspector for the GogoLoco Beyond (VRCFury) prefab, or delete the GogoLoco Beyond (VRCFury) prefab from your hierarchy and add it back in.

If you accidentally apply this change this to the prefab, or accidentally edit the base prefab instead, re-import GoGo Loco to your project to revert the change.

Troubleshooting

The objects are pink in the scene!

This uses VRChat's more recent VRChat/Mobile/Toon Standard Shader. Either update your SDK to a version that includes this, or substitute with your own shader.

Seats aren't working correctly!

Ensure that you do not have more than 6 stations on your avatar. See the GoGo Loco/Other Chair Prefab Instructions section.
